Backyard
The first phase of the project started with tree work, brush and stump removal, and making way for the new driveway and landscape.
The project started with a huge amount of tree work on the back half of the property. This made way for a new paver driveway and stack stone walls. Also, with trees removed it allowed more sun into the backyard, which would make it easier to have a healthy lawn and garden areas. The homeowners loved the transformation of the backyard and decided they wanted to landscape their waterfront as well that fall. The work involved a great deal of excavation along with large boulder walls to make room for the creation of a beautiful waterfront patio, accessable from either side with sandstone stairs. With the boulder walls and patio complete, we then moved on to building a massive waterfall that would circulate out of the lake. We used mossy boulders on the waterfront to create a rustic look and feel that the work had always been there.
